Our mission
The community bus has been part of the Waldenbuch cityscape since March 2018. After almost two years of trial operation, the community bus was able to go into permanent operation.
Our association “Bürgerbus Waldenbuch eV”, founded in 2019, has set itself the goal of better connecting the individual districts of Waldenbuch and thus supplementing the VVS public transport system.
Our approximately 20 volunteer drivers bring young and old safely to their destination according to a set timetable.
Our conditions
The medium-low-floor bus has eight seats and runs Monday to Friday, mornings and afternoons (except Wednesday afternoons and public holidays).
The bus has a fold-out ramp, making it suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Adults pay €1 for a ride, children between 6 and 14 years pay €0.50.
Children under 6 years and severely disabled people are free.
Payment is made to the driver.
The VVS and Germany tickets are accepted.
The travel times can be found on the VVS website using the Electronic Timetable Information (EFA). Our BUS is registered as BB85.
